A downloadable game

A short narrative game inspired by Mary Shelley's 'Frankenstein', 'Plaything' (black mirror), and the level design of Half Life.

You'll slowly piece together events that happened 40 years prior, and learn the knowledge you'll need to make a difficult decision at the end.

Controls:

Shift - sprint

Ctrl - crouch

P - pause

E - interact (labelled in game)

Q - quit (in some contexts, labelled in game)

K - toggle key card

This game was created for a 6 week uni assignment as a first step into making narrative driven games and using Unreal engine's blueprints. I'm a first year student hoping to dive into more jams and work on my Level design, the thing I'm most passionate about. Thanks for taking a look at this project!

I hope you enjoy, and if you don't (or if you just wanna share your thoughts) I am open to feedback + thoughts!

Hi there, would love to try it out, looks awesome! But there isn't any sound in the game?

Hi, thank you! You’re not wrong, the student in me left audio until last minute and unfortunately never got it done. It’s a shame because I can understand the importance of it, especially for a project like this where i’m trying to build atmosphere. But, my priority is to move into new projects and continue to grow instead of revisiting this one for now. Something to take into the next one  :)

Oh okay, I get it. Well, thanks for letting me know and good luck with your next project! :)
